Looking to reset your week without leaving Kitsilano? The Museum of Vancouver is offering a unique way to start your Sunday—with a yoga session overlooking Jericho Beach and the North Shore mountains.

Held inside the museum at Vanier Park, Yoga at the Museum of Vancouver combines a gentle Hatha yoga practice with one of the city’s best waterfront views. Sessions run from 10:15am to 11:15am on select Sundays through the spring with the next one on Sunday, April 19th.

The classes are designed to be accessible and restorative, focusing on slower-paced movement, breathing, and relaxation—ideal for beginners or anyone looking to ease into their day.

“Start your Sunday with an awe-inspiring view,” the organizers note, highlighting the setting that looks out over Vanier Park, English Bay, and the North Shore Mountains.

Each session is led by a rotating group of local instructors, including Linh Jiang, Angela Gmeinweser, and Sarah Osborne, bringing a mix of styles and approaches to the experience.

Tickets are $25 per session, and include admission to the Museum of Vancouver, giving participants the option to explore exhibitions after class.

Participants are asked to bring their own yoga mat, as mats are not provided.

With its combination of movement, mindfulness, and a scenic Kitsilano backdrop, the program offers a simple way to slow down and recharge—just steps from the beach.
