Refuel Restaurant to close March 24

Refuel Restaurant is closing doors for good after Saturday, March 24. No doubt Kitsilano residents will miss the devotion to discerning carnivores (house-cured salumi, 40-day-dry-aged rib eyes, locally-sourced pork, southern fried chicken, whole hog dinners, roasted bone marrow) not to mention the annual spot prawn boils.

Get your last Refuel fix at Refuel’s Late Night P.I.G. Out Dinner that’s still going ahead on March 28.We heard it’s going to involve Refuel bacon and R&B Brewing suds.

What’s ahead for the space at 1944 West 4th Avenue? Top Chef Canada competitor Trevor Bird (who chef-ed at Lumiere and DB Bistro Moderne) already got his hands on it, which means another exciting, new restaurant for Kits.
