I had vowed not to post about Moderne Burger again until they re-opened. That was back in December. In February, Urban Diner posted some pictures of the new interior and reported that Peter (owner?) thought the opening was “three to four weeks away.” Right. I knew better than to get my hopes up, but we’re now three months past that point, and there really doesn’t seem to be much activity anytime I walk by.
However, yesterday there was a glimmer of hope; they were bringing in the wood frames for the booths, as well as what looked liked cushion material. It’ll probably be another 3 months for the faux-leather upholstery to arrive though…
