On the heels of my post about the $1 Million houses in Kitsilano, be sure to check out actual assessed values of your favourite Kitsilano home at the BC Assessment website. They’ve got tax assessments and sales history by address and it’s a free online from January 3rd to March 15th. The website was designed to help BC property owners audit their tax assessments by comparing the value of their property to others in their neighbourhood. Unfortunately, in the case of most Kitsilano residents, it’s just a reminder of how stupid it was not to buy something 5 years ago.
