Kitsilano will soon be home to a bring-your-own-cup coffee shop.

After finding success in North Vancouver, Nomad Coffee will be setting up their second “no single-use coffee shop” at 2143 Yew Street and plan to open this summer.

The Yew Street storefront was the long-time home of Helen’s Convenience Store, a community anchor since 1912.

Nomad launched its first no-single-use-cup coffee shop back in 2022 and is set to reach the 100,000 cup milestone by May 1st of this year.

Customers can bring their own cup, enjoy their beverage on-site in a ceramic mug, buy or rent a reusable cup for $3, or borrow a reusable cup using the Reusables.com app.
