Jim Pattison Developments is set to transform the southeast corner of West Broadway and Balaclava Street with a new mixed-use building.

The development, replacing businesses like Neverland Tea Salon and Le Petit Spa, will feature a 13,000 sq ft grocery store at ground level, although the brand remains undisclosed.

The project, designed by Formosis Architecture, includes 61 market condominium homes with a mix of studio, one, two, and three-bedroom units.

Spanning 62,600 sq ft, the development also plans two underground levels for 86 vehicle parking and 131 bike spaces, complementing nearby mixed-use buildings housing Shoppers Drug Mart and Parthenon Market.

One year ago Jim Pattison’s team opened their first restaurant venture in West Point Grey with Wildlight Kitchen + Bar.
