1) Visit Fable Restaurant before the final episode of Top Chef, June 4. Top Chef Competitor Trevor Bird and partners threw their grand launch party last night and the local media was out in full force to sample eats like: chickpea fritters, picked red onion, shoots, curry mayo; potato crusted chicken with ratatouille; slow cooked arctic char, gnocchi, kale, leeks, spinach purée and bread pudding with mascarpone. We want to know what you think about the newest Kits hotspot.
2) Enjoy retail therapy at the new Leo Boutique. Leo brings hip, designer clothing for both guys and gals (J Brand, Rich and Famous, Opening Ceremony) to 2074 West 4th Avenue.
3) Hide from the rain in Fifth Avenue Cinemas. Bernie, Bruno’s Blues, Hysteria and the feel-good Judie Dench/Maggie Smith double whammy The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel are all playing at Fifth.
4) Get tix for Bard on the Beach. The beloved Vanier Park Shakespeare Fest is on now through September. Seats go fast, especially for the bbq event.
