Kitsilano’s long-awaited salad destination is finally ready to open its doors.
Mandy’s Gourmet Salads will officially open its first Vancouver storefront at 2202 West 4th Avenue on Wednesday, September 23.
The Montreal-born brand is known for its colourful signature salads, grain bowls, smoothies and create-your-own options. The Kitsilano location will also serve breakfast and operate daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Founded by sisters Mandy and Rebecca Wolfe, Mandy’s began in 2004 as a create-your-own salad bar tucked inside a Montreal clothing store. The concept has since grown across Quebec and Ontario, supported by two bestselling cookbooks and a collection of dressings sold in grocery stores.
The Kitsilano restaurant marks Mandy’s first permanent storefront in Western Canada. A second Vancouver location is planned for 1067 West Cordova Street in Coal Harbour later this fall.
While Kitsilano residents have been able to order Mandy’s for delivery since June, the West 4th opening offers the first opportunity to experience a physical Mandy’s location in Vancouver.
The restaurant’s menu includes signature combinations alongside customizable salads and bowls, breakfast dishes, smoothies, snacks and drinks. Online ordering will also be available.
Mandy’s joins a busy stretch of West 4th Avenue that continues to attract new food, wellness and retail concepts.
