The Vancouver Folk Music Festival has released the complete schedule for its 49th annual event, returning to Jericho Beach Park from July 17 to 19, 2026.

The three-day festival will feature performances, collaborative sessions, and special programming across four stages, bringing together artists from Canada and around the world for one of Vancouver’s most beloved summer traditions.

“This year’s schedule really reflects the spirit of discovery, connection and community that defines the Vancouver Folk Music Festival,” said Fiona Black, Artistic Director of the Vancouver Folk Music Festival. “From legendary international artists to emerging voices and once-in-a-lifetime workshop collaborations, there is something happening on every stage all weekend long.”

Friday evening opens with an Opening Ceremony featuring Thelma Stogan, followed by Mainstage performances from Aysanabee, Hazlett, and Sahra Halgan.

Saturday highlights include Tami Neilson, Billy Bragg, and Ruby Waters on the Mainstage, along with collaborative sessions such as Global Ties That Bind and Stories from Across the Pond.

Sunday programming includes Maruja Limón, Valerie June, and BIM (Benin International Musical), as well as workshop sessions including Rise Up and Sing!, Trad-ically Hip, We Be Jammin’, and Rock Out.

Additional artists appearing throughout the weekend include Amistat, Anna Tivel, Bia Ferreira, Brighde Chaimbeul, Cousin Harley, Haley Blais, John Smith, Lindi Ortega, Ruby Singh & The Future Ancestors, Teddy Thompson, The Slocan Ramblers, Tina Dico, and many more.

“The Vancouver Folk Music Festival remains internationally recognized for its unique workshop format, where artists from different cultures, genres and musical traditions come together for collaborative performances created exclusively for the Festival experience,” added Black.

Early bird pricing has been extended until May 31. Single-day tickets start at $70 for adults on Friday, while adult weekend passes are $225. Children 12 and under attend free.
