Looking for something a little different to do in Kits this spring? The Museum of Vancouver is turning local history into a live comedy show—with plenty of laughs along the way.

Running on select Saturday evenings with the next show on April 25th, Haha, History! blends stand-up comedy with Vancouver’s past, offering a one-hour show that’s equal parts entertaining and unexpected.

Hosted by Vancouver comedian Myles Anderson, the event features a rotating lineup of local comics who riff on historical artifacts pulled from the museum’s collection. Items are projected on screen, prompting comedians to debate, joke, and improvise their way through Vancouver’s history.

The concept is simple but effective: take something traditionally serious—museum artifacts—and turn it into a fast-paced, comedy-driven experience.

The show runs from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the Museum of Vancouver in Vanier Park, making it an easy add-on to a night out in Kits. Tickets start at $38, with options for small table seating that includes drinks.

Beyond the laughs, the event also offers a fresh way to engage with the city’s history. By pairing comedy with real artifacts, Haha, History! invites audiences to see Vancouver’s past through a more playful and accessible lens.

Set just steps from Kits Beach and the Seawall, the Museum of Vancouver continues to experiment with new ways to bring people into its space—and this might be one of its most fun ideas yet.
