The Museum of Vancouver in Vanier Park is turning local history into a comedy game show this spring.
On February 28, March 28, and April 25, 2026, MOV will host Haha, History!, a trivia-style event led by comedian and museum staffer Myles Anderson.
“I’ve joked about my work at the Museum of Vancouver in stand-up sets before, but this is the first time I’ll be performing at the Museum,” said Anderson, who greets visitors at the front desk. He’s also appeared on The Debaters and season five of The New Wave of Stand Up.
Drawing from the museum’s collection of more than 80,000 objects, Anderson will project historical artifacts on screen as comedians compete to answer trivia questions — and occasionally invent their own hilarious versions of Vancouver history.
“People often feel that going to a museum is a serious affair,” said MOV CEO Ryan Hunt. “But if you only view the past as something serious, you forget how big a role laughter plays in the human experience.”
The February 28 lineup features Charlie Demers and Graham Clark, co-host of Stop Podcasting Yourself.
On March 28, Christine Bortolin and Abdul Aziz take the stage.
The series wraps April 25 with Rachel Schaefer and David MacLean.
Located at 1100 Chestnut Street in Vanier Park, just steps from Kits Beach and the Seawall, the Museum of Vancouver is making a strong case for adding comedy to your list of things to do in Kitsilano this winter and spring.
If you’re a history buff — or just love a good laugh — Haha, History! might be your next local night out.
