CelticFest Vancouver returns March 13–15, celebrating Irish Heritage Month and 22 years of Celtic music, dance, and culture across the city.
Western Canada’s largest annual Celtic festival features three days of live performances, concerts, and community celebrations, culminating in a free, all-ages Family Day Festival downtown.
Festivities kick off Friday night with a high-energy Ceilidh (Irish dance party) featuring the Blackthorn Band. The weekend continues with ticketed concerts including What’s the Craic? A Night of Irish Devilry and a headline show at Kitsilano’s historic Hollywood Theatre (3123 West Broadway) on March 14.
Sunday’s free Family Day Festival offers live Celtic music, traditional Irish dance, artisan vendors, food trucks, sports demonstrations, Irish Wolfhounds, face painting, and bouncy castles.
CelticFest runs March 13–15. Tickets for evening concerts are available online, while Sunday’s Family Day Festival is free to attend.
