It’s spot prawn season again. Oh how we love those big, sweet, firm crustaceans.

The time to celebrate this local and sustainable bounty, which happens to be the envy of seafood lovers around the world, is at the annual Spot Prawn Festival.

Each year at the Spot Prawn Festival Boil, Chefs’ Table Society member chefs from across the Lower Mainland serve you fresh-from-the-boat spot prawns at Fisherman’s Wharf at 1505 West 1st Avenue.

This year you have THREE ways to enjoy it:

  • FREE – access to the docks, view cooking demos and more
  • $10 – 10 oz of Spot Prawn Bisque – to go if you want!
  • $79 – Spot Prawn Brunch – grazing style with a tasting menu of 6 delicious spot prawn dishes (19 yrs+ only)

The Spot Prawn Festival is on Sunday, May 26th and tickets are available online.
