“Pssst, hey, follow me down this side alley”.

I know what you’re thinking; “of course, I’d definitely follow a random stranger down an alleyway in Fairview”, but surprisingly I have had very little success with that line. Maybe it’s because I’m in the bushes at the time, maybe it’s because I’m not wearing pants. We’ll never know.

For the brave, however, a trip down a side alley in Fairview will bring you to a tiny little coffee shop called Taste and See shop, where the owners roast and sell coffee. It’s a great little hidden gem that serves up decent drinks in a funky little art gallery/café combo.

Vancouver Coffee Snob Recommendation: I’m partial to their lattes as well as their cappuccinos. There’s not usually much to eat but you might get lucky and snag a cookie once in a while.
