Valentine’s Day Giveaway Final Day:
$50 to Local Public Eatery, who is hosting an Anti-Valentine’s Party aka a Stop Light Party February 14.
This post is for the anti-Valentines, un-Valentines, the nontraditionalists, haters and daters. Local Public Eatery is hosting an Anti-Valentine’s Day Party alternative February 14, for those who prefer DJs and drink specials to candle light and crooning.
Local will provide Stop Light Party guests with coloured ribbons to signify their “status.” Green means single; A yellow ribbon means you might be, or could soon be single; Red ribbons signify that you’re taken.
Whether you’re on the market, unsure about your status, or dating but not into traditional Valentine’s Day celebrations, Local is the beach front party destination for you.
Share a cocktail in a boot (Lucky Lemonade, El Caeser, Kung Fu Punch, Baja Margarita) and any of Local’s six variations on the 1/2 lb. chuck burger with a new acquaintance. You may find you’re still chatting over their signature gooey chocolate brownie.
How to win:
Like “Kitsilano.ca” on Facebook or comment on our daily Facebook wall post with the prize. We will choose one winner Saturday morning, Feb. 11.
