“Yoga-wear row” on West 4th is starting to get rather thin. After Karma closing its mortar and brick doors back in December, Lotuswear is the next to follow.
The note on the door directs customers online and to the Hastings location. According to their website, they also have a store at Park Royal, as well as 3 others across BC. And according to that same website they will also be opening two new stores in Tsawwwassen and Steveston. This makes the West 4th closure somewhat puzzling, as one would think that it is a great location to attract yogis. Perhaps Lotuswear thrives better in locations where they are not in direct competition with the mother of all yoga-wear brands.
