Karma Closed

Walking along West 4th today, my wife and I noticed with some surprise that Karma (2066 West 4th @ Arbutus) closed its doors. What has the world come to if a yoga store can’t survive in Kits?!

It doesn’t look like it’s all bad Karma, as the hand-written notice on the door suggests that their wholesale business will continue to operate. I imagine you will also still be able to order their stuff online.

In my untrained eyes, this looks like a preemptive cost cutting move. Close the store, keep the wholesale and online. Weather the storm. And then when it passes, who knows, the store may come back.
