I was a little worried when I pulled up in front of G-Max Sports on West Broadway today – the store was completely empty and ‘for lease’ signs were plastered on the windows. I was relieved to find a notice on their door directing me across the street to their new location. Phew! I’ve been getting my skates sharpened here for five years and they do a great job. G-Max has been serving Kitsilano for over 12 years and the owner, Mike Ikeda, is a scout with the Vancouver Giants. This is the place to take your skates in Kits!
