The Vancouver Sun Run is Canada’s largest 10K road race and the 3rd largest timed 10K in North America.
The big race gets underway at 9:00am on Sunday, April 19th and race organizers would like to remind all participants and the general public of road closures occurring around the event.
The Burrard Street Bridge will be closed to all traffic from 8:00am to noon and the following closures will hit Kitsilano.
- West 3rd Avenue – Burrard to Fir – 8:30am to 12:30pm
- Fir Street – West 3rd Ave to West 4th Ave – 8:30am to 12:30pm
- 6th Ave Eastbound Exit to 4th Ave, Granville Bridge – 8:30am to 12:30pm
- West 2nd/West 4th/West 6th – Pine to Moberly – 8:30am to 12:30pm
