Polar enthusiasts and history lovers are invited to the Vancouver Maritime Museum on Friday, December 6, 2025, for Terror Camp: Polar Party — a lively celebration of Arctic exploration, storytelling, and creativity.

Inspired by the acclaimed TV series The Terror and a shared fascination with polar history, the in-person event will feature rare Arctic artifacts, archival displays, and a guided look into the museum’s Arctic collection with Curator Ashley. Guests will also take part in a hands-on photo-collage button-making craft, blending history with a touch of DIY artistry.

Hot drinks will keep guests warm as they explore tales of survival and discovery in one of the world’s harshest environments. Admission includes full access to the museum’s exhibits, including the St. Roch, Canada’s legendary Arctic patrol vessel and the first ship to navigate the Northwest Passage in both directions.

Terror Camp: Polar Party promises a cozy evening of history, creativity, and polar camaraderie. Tickets and event details are available at vanmaritimemuseum.com.
