After nearly a decade away, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet will make its long-awaited return to Vancouver on February 9–10, 2026, performing at The Centre in Vancouver for Performing Arts.
The celebrated company will present a double bill featuring one of its signature masterpieces, Carmina Burana, alongside the West Coast premiere of T’əl: The Wild Man of the Woods.
A hallmark of the RWB repertoire, Carmina Burana fuses bold, athletic choreography with Carl Orff’s thunderous score, delivering a visceral performance that leaves audiences exhilarated and inspired.
Paired with this classic is T’əl: The Wild Man of the Woods, a groundbreaking collaboration of Indigenous artists led by choreographer Cameron Fraser-Monroe, an RWB School alumnus. Hailed as “a powerful fusion of Indigenous storytelling, contemporary ballet, and classical music—rooted in tradition and elevated for the stage” (The Globe and Mail), T’əl honours the richness of oral tradition through contemporary expression.
Tickets and additional information are available online.
