Vancouver’s H.R. MacMillan Space Centre is opening its doors to adults only this September for a special edition of Cosmic Nights: How We Discover The Universe.
On Friday, September 12th, from 6:00pm to 10:30pm, guests can explore the wonders of space in a fun, social setting — without the kids. The evening features presentations and demonstrations from Space Centre experts, diving into groundbreaking technologies and discoveries like the James Webb Space Telescope and gravitational waves.
Alongside the learning, guests can enjoy a drink from the bar, complimentary snacks, and a planetarium show. Live science demos and an auditorium lecture round out the program, making it an immersive night of discovery.
Whether you’re a casual stargazer or a dedicated space buff, this 19+ event is designed to be both entertaining and educational. Bring your friends, your curiosity, and don’t forget your ID.
Tickets are available now, and Kitsilano.ca readers can save 15% with this link.
