This weekend, the Seaforth Armoury in Kitsilano will be bustling with activity as the Canadian Army Reserve hosts a job fair and open house. The event, scheduled for April 27 from 9:00am to 4:00pm, will feature assault scenarios at 10:45am, 1:00pm, and 3:00pm, with occasional noise from blank ammunition. Visitors can also meet soldiers and explore weapon and equipment displays.
The historic Seaforth Armoury at 1650 Burrard St. has been a Vancouver-based military hub for nearly 90 years. Attendees can tour the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada museum and learn about military history while discovering job opportunities in the Army Reserve.
