This Saturday, September 23rd the Vancouver Maritime Museum is offering Vancouverites free admission to the museum (donations are encouraged).

Enjoy A Whale of a Tale at the Vancouver Maritime Museum for a day full of stories and family fun.

Special Guests Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve will share their story of the Cuvier’s Beaked Whale that washed ashore on the island of SGang Gwaay in 2015.

Special Storytime of Over and Under the Waves will be shared by Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve, National Marine Conservation Area Reserve, and Haida Heritage Site.

Enjoy everything from crafts, activities and more throughout the day.

The Vancouver Maritime Museum is located at 1905 Ogden Avenue.

    Hello:

    The Museum of Vancouver and the Vancouver Art Gallery both have admission by donation days each month. I would like to know if the Maritime Museum has similar days, when admission is also by donation or a seniors day with admission by donation.
