The long vacant northeast corner at West 4th and Macdonald is being developed into a six-storey mixed-use rental building.

The proposed development will consist of 5 levels of rental homes above commercial retail space at grade and two levels of underground parking.

The building will provide 99 rental homes, with a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts.

The lot at 2783 West 4th Avenue was a longtime Chevron gas station until the oil company disposed of most of its Vancouver locations including two in Kitsilano.

Designed by Yamamoto Architecture, Third Space Properties has submitted the development permit application for the project. Occupancy is estimated for Fall of 2025.
