The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival is in full bloom and the organizers have created a Google map that details the 3,000+ locations where you can see trees with light pink blossoms on them.

The map opens showing you the festival’s favourite locations, which may or may not be in bloom now. Search by neighbourhood or cultivar, or a combination of those, to see all the trees we have on the map. Or change the dates to see what is in bloom when you plan to go out flower viewing.

There are 110 locations identified in Kitsilano.

Hint for photographers: click the Favourites button on the map to see the locations offering the best photo-ops. Or click the Blooming button for what all is blooming now. The red markers are the favourites, the good photo-op locations.
