It’s a long festival, so which Vancouver community events should you attend? We break down your best options below.
Cherry Jam Downtown Concert: April 2, 12pm, Burrard Skytrain Station
A rioutous, free live musical performance to kick off the festival with Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra performers, a ukelele group, a taiko drummer, an electric guitar and a yo-yo champion. Mogu Japanese Street Eats and Blue Smoke BBQ food trucks will be parked on Dunsmuir to feed hungry attendees special cherry blossom themed items.
Sakura Illumination: April 3, 9pm, Charleson Park, False Creek in Fairveiw
