Judith & Charles celebrated the opening of its first street-front store in Vancouver at 2207 West 4th on Thursday evening. Attended by none other than co-founder Charles himself and overflowing with an array of Vancouver fashion bloggers, writers, and photographers, the event introduced the shop into the Vancouver fashion scene with a bang.
Adorable DJ Pri Phommachak, sporting a beautifully tailored white Judith & Charles dress, set the perfect tone for such a charming scene. On a backdrop of white, all clothes were displayed with a precision befitting such flawlessness. Portraits of of iconic women like Coco Chanel and Dorothea Lange presided over the stylish scene.
Preceded by Pacific Centre and Oakridge Centre shops, the Fourth Avenue boutique will draw a crowd that may not necessarily be familiar with the brand yet. Adding more polish to the neighbourhood’s eclectic fashion scene, Judith & Charles boasts a professional wardrobe with an edgy twist.
Tailored jackets garnished with leather sleeves and colour-blocked shoulders, printed pants with oversized pockets, and tailored dresses with pops of colour – all can be dressed up or down to take the everygirl from work to play. And the vibrant scarves and statement necklaces add a touch of personality to any outfit.
Upping the style ante in our neighbourhood, Judith & Charles is sure to make itself at home quickly. With Gravity Pope just a hop, skip, and a jump away, all the women of Kits will be tempted to redo their wardrobes from head to toe in time for spring.
