Renovations are complete at Vancouver Public Library’s Kitsilano branch. The branch reopened March 1.
Enhancements to help the branch meet the community’s growing needs include the installation of new public washrooms, new flooring, and an improved layout and area for computer work
“We appreciate the patience and understanding of our patrons while these renovations have been underway,” says Diana Guinn, VPL’s director of community engagement and partnerships. “We know that patrons are keen to see the changes, and we invite everyone to come and see our newly renovated space.”
Due dates during the closure for materials borrowed from the branch have been extended to March 10.
Items held for pickup at the Kitsilano branch have also been extended to March 10 after the branch re-opens; no charges will be imposed.
