Pear Tree Education, the brand new learning centre in Kitsilano, is hosting an open house Saturday, March 10 from 11am to 1pm at the centre (215-2678 West Broadway). The open house is an opportunity for parents and kids to meet teachers, tour the new facilities and learn about their exciting programs.
The school opens next week at Spring Break, when it will be running a series of innovative half day and full day camps for 6 to 9-year olds and 10 to 13-year-olds.
The new after-school centre classrooms are equipped with the latest interactive whiteboard and Wi-Fi;visitors will be able to learn how the centre uses technology to help children research, design, and produce work. Every room will have a multimedia presentation about an aspect of what Pear Tree does.
Refreshments and snacks will be provided and parents will be able to register their children for Spring Break or regular classes.
