In need of a thank you gift and looking for something a little more interesting than flowers or chocolates, I stopped by the newly opened Yaletown Brownies at 2680 West Broadway (ironically located only in Kitsilano). They offer several different kinds of brownies including chocolate glaze, pecan caramel, peppermint, green tea, white chocolate chip, and even gluten free! They also offer scones, tarts, soups and cheesecake.
I opted for a box of their signature brownies, which are said to be a rich, moist brownie filled with delicious deep chocolate and crunchy walnuts. The brownies were beautifully packaged in a pretty little box. I must admit that I did not try the brownies myself but my friend who received them sent a note this morning that read “The brownies are amazing!”
