Burns Supper at the Bishop

This Friday January 22nd the Billy Bishop Legion is hosting the Burns Supper in honour of Robert Burns or Rabbie Burns as he is known. According to Rabbie-burns.com, “Burns is Scotland’s best-loved bard and Burns Suppers have been held in his honour for over 200 years”.

The Billy Bishop will expand their Friday dinner to include an Angus Beef Dinner with champit tatties, bashed neeps , mushy peas, tremblin’ tam and of course Haggis. Tickets are $15. at the bar. The kitchen is able to prepare 50 meals so be sure to get your tickets early. The address to the Haggis will take place at 6:30pm.

Dinner is open to all; membership to the legion is not necessary. If you are interested in becoming a member however, you may obtain an application from the bartender. The $60. per year membership supports our beloved Billy Bishop to continue to exist and gives you access to legions all around the world.
