There will be African music, food, crafts, and more, all in an effort to promote African culture and raise awareness and funds for the important work that CNIS does:

CNIS activities includes injury prevention through the Injury Control Center in Uganda and through the Injury Prevention Initiative for Africa in 8 African Countries and another supports surgical libraries.

Injury Deaths account for more than 5 million deaths worldwide. Globally, this is more than HIV, Malaria and Tuberculosis combined. 13% of Africans will die an injury related death.
