Robber Targets iPod Listeners in Kits

The Vancouver Sun reported today that at least three young men listening to iPods in the past month have been attacked from behind, struck with a blunt object on the head and robbed for their iPods.

All three men were targeted in the Kitsilano area and received minor injuries.  According to Vancouver Police, iPod robberies in Vancouver and elsewhere are on the rise. Police, who believe the three attacks are linked, are looking for an 18 to 25 year-old white male about 5’8" tall with short brown hair.  The VPD is asking anyone with information to contact Constable Rob Gough at 604-717-3206. Wait until the iPhone hits Canada.
