It’s a good thing everyone refers to us as Kitsilano.ca because I won’t be buying the domain name Kitsilano.com anytime soon. I contacted the current owner to see if they are interested in selling it and they said they "would consider a solid six figure offer or we would lease if for $1500.00 per month". I don’t think so – the Google ads on this site don’t even bring in $10 per month.
The good news is that I own a bunch of other domain extensions (.biz, .info, and .org) and I’d be happy to share them with anyone out there that likes Kits as much as I do. Don’t you think the Kitsilano Chamber of Commerce would look good at www.kitsilano.biz and the Kitsilano Community Centre would suit www.kitsilano.org. And if you’re a realtor specializing on the Westside, do yourself a favor and drop www.vancouverrealestateagent.ca and make me an offer on www.kitsilano.info. Solid three figure offers should be fine.
