It’s funny to see how popular the Bell Beavers are with Canadians right now. Come to think of it, Frank and Gordon remind me a bit of Kitsilano’s very own Beaver Man. Wouldn’t it be great to see him waving his flag and peddling pizza this summer on Cornwall Avenue. If that dream doesn’t come true, your best bet for a little beaver action is the new Bell store on West 4th – it’s only a matter of time until Bell realizes that these Olympic mascots beavers are HOT and starts selling stuffed animals and t-shirts.
