Rob and I were out for a 4th avenue stroll with the ladies recently and came across a new restaurant/bar called The Distillery. It’s at 2042 West 4th (Il Ducato’s old space) across the street from the always busy Hell’s Kitchen. We poked our heads in the door to find quite a cool room. Problem is, the place was empty. Why you ask? I’ll tell you why, not a single drink special advertised on the sign out front.What’s up with that?! The Distillery is going to be a distant memory if someone in there doesn’t dust off their old marketing 101 textbook soon.
