Volleyball at Kits Beach this weekend
B.C.’s best beach volleyball players will be taking part in the Molson Open Pro Beach Volleyball Tournament beginning Friday, July 15 at Kits Beach. The Molson Open is an annual event that attracts the best beach volleyball players from across Canada and the Northwest United States with one of the biggest purses in the country, set at $10,000. The tournament features 20 teams on both the men’s and women’s sides, with the main draw kicking off on Saturday at 9 a.m. and playoffs continuing on Sunday. The Molson Open is free to the public, so I suggest we all head down to the beach and check it out.
