Greek Day on Broadway returns Sunday, June 22nd, transforming West Broadway into a lively celebration of Greek culture from 11am to 9pm.

Stretching from Macdonald to Blenheim, the free street festival is one of Vancouver’s largest cultural events and marks its 51st year in the heart of the city’s historic Greektown.

Visitors can expect a feast for the senses: sizzling souvlaki, sweet baklava, loukoumades, moussaka, and Greek coffee will be served by dozens of food vendors. Two stages will feature live music, traditional dance performances, and cultural demonstrations throughout the day.

The festival’s Family Zone offers kid-friendly activities like face-painting, crafts, and storytelling, while the bustling Agora marketplace hosts over 100 local artisans, community groups, and Greek product vendors.

Highlights include cooking demos, a loukoumades-eating contest, and a grand-prize raffle with a trip for two to Greece. Festival organizers say the event continues to celebrate the rich contributions of Greek Canadians while inviting the wider community to share in their traditions.
