West 4th Avenue’s RunAsYouAre is lacing up for an active and insightful event during Vancouver Startup Week, blending fitness with future-forward retail innovation.

On Tuesday, May 20, the Kitsilano run shop and tech-driven wellness brand will open its doors at 8 a.m. for a morning run (or walk) followed by coffee and a candid panel discussion on the role of technology in transforming everyday retail.

Hosted in partnership with ECOMsquare, the event takes place at RunAsYouAre’s storefront at 2033 West 4th Avenue.

The experience will include a relaxed 3–5km community loop followed by a conversation led by co-founder Larry Lau, who will discuss how the brand’s proprietary RunReady platform is bringing physiotherapist-backed tools into the retail space.

From movement assessments to footwear matching and personalized exercise programming, RunAsYouAre is building tech that supports real runners—helping them run better, longer, and more comfortably.

Attendance is free but limited, and RSVPs are encouraged for those looking to start their day with a mix of movement, caffeine, and startup insights.
