It’s official.
Provisions Kitsilano, the latest concept from Toptable Group, is coming to the corner of West 4th Avenue and Vine Street, in the former Brown’s Socialhouse location.
As Scout Magazine reports in its first look inside the new space, Provisions Kitsilano brings Toptable Group’s signature mix of culinary precision and casual comfort to West 4th and Vine.
With a team led by longtime Toptable veterans—including Culinary Director James Walt and Executive Sous Chef Alex Hon—the cafe carries forward the scratch-made, fine-dining-informed ethos of its Whistler predecessor, but reimagined for urban rhythms.
Everything from seeded milk buns to smash burgers made with a custom grind from Toptable’s Luigi & Sons is crafted in-house, reflecting what Hon described as a commitment to “internal and intentional” quality.
The result is a polished, approachable neighbourhood spot designed for daily rituals—whether that’s a Thierry espresso, a salty snack, or an unplanned patio session beneath a Kitsilano sunset.
