MOV is getting in on the Khatsahlano Street Party action on July 9th.

Join Rita Kompst at the Khatsahlano Street Party for an in-person workshop on traditional Coast Salish cedar weaving.

Participants will learn about the cultural and traditional techniques of Coast Salish cedar weaving. Using the cedar bark that was harvested and prepared by Rita herself, participants will weave their very own cedar bracelets and roses.

MOV is offering two sessions for this workshop, 11am to 12pm or 1pm to 2pm. When registering, please select your preferred time slot.

The workshop will take place at the Host Nations Pavilion on Vine + West 4th Ave. Tickets are $50 for non-members, $45 for MOV members, and $40 for Indigenous Peoples.
