Vancouver firefighters were called out shortly after 1:30pm today to the 2700-block of West 3rd at 1848 Macdonald Street, where a three-storey wood house was engulfed in flames.
According to Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services entry to the house was unsafe so water had to be applied from the exterior.
The property is currently listed for sale for $2,588,000 and features three “income producing” suites that have been rented on Airbnb.
The fire occurred only a few blocks away from Topanga Cafe’s three-alarm blaze and another fire damaged house that has been in the news this week.
