Help give a Kits school a much-needed playground. How? For the month of December Bayswater Tea Co. at 2966 West Broadway is donating 100% of the proceeds from sales of their Winter Mandarin Black Tea and Walnut Carmel Rooibos Tea to the General Gordon Elementary School playground fundraising campaign.
Cobs Bakeries at Broadway & MacDonald or 4th & Vine give 5% of your purchase to the school as part of their ongoing Dough Raiser. Be sure to say you support Gordon School when you shop.
The school is being rebuilt and will be ready Fall 2016. During the two year construction period Gordon students are at Queen Elizabeth School and Q.E. Annex. Unfortunately, there is no money in the budget for playground equipment or covered play spaces.
