The police are looking for a man who exposed himself to two young girls in Kitsilano on Monday afternoon at Maple Street and West 18th Avenue. Anyone with information is asked to contact the VPD sex crimes unit at (604) 717-2634 or Crime Stoppers at 1(800) 222-8477. As reported by the Sun:

Police said that at about 3:30 p.m., the girls, 12 and 13 years old, were walking on Maple Street near West 18th Avenue when they were approached by the man who exposed himself to them. The girls ran away and informed their parents.

No suspects have been identified and no arrests made.

“The incident is obviously very disturbing,” said Const. Brian Montague. “Children being targeted and potential escalation in criminal behaviour with any sexual offender is always a concern.”

The suspect is described as having a pale brown or tanned skin complexion, late 20s or early 30s, five feet, nine inches to six feet tall, with a medium build. He was clean-shaven with short brown hair.
