Kitsilano.ca goes digital… signs that is

Kitsilano.ca is excited to announce that we have partnered with RTown Network to broadcast the our hyper-local news, events, sports, and community content on its digital signage screens throughout the neighbourhood.

Kitsilano.ca headlines are now being broadcast across the Westside on screens at the following locations.

  • Jackson’s Meats and Deli
  • Kitsilano Market
  • Kitsilano Beer & Wine
  • Meinhardt Fine Foods
  • Burrito Brothers
  • Esquire Coffee
  • Goldilocks Bakery

A selection of Kitsilano.ca stories are now appearing these screens across Kits under the under the “Community” tab in the rotation.

RTown has 160 public, residential and elevator screens in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, and 29,000 digital signage and guest room screens in its network across Canada.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Kitsilano.ca to present our viewers with hyper-local, up-to-date information while they are out and about in their community,” says Don McQuaid, President of RTN Media, the parent company of RTown. “Reaching people with the information they want to see, such as local news and weather, and giving our clients the ability to get their message out when and how they want, is the basis of what we do.” In addition to broadcasting Kitsilano.ca’s content, RTown also enables its advertisers and location partners to log in to the screens themselves to broadcast last-minute discounts and offerings, and location-specific information such as hours, schedules and news, all in real-time.
