Kitsilano homes have reached sale volumes that are lower than slow. During the last 60 days 100 homes were for sale. Of that number only 5 sold. A further 16 homes listings expired and almost half (46) of the inventory reduced their price. The average sold price was $1,244,600. The lowest sale was $875,000 the highest, $1,799,000.
The uncertainty of global financial prospects, elections have all combined to deliver an incredible lack of consumer confidence. There is a great sense that everyone is beginning to “turtle” and withdraw from all market segments.
