Canada Day Gift from the Heavens
Back in April we reported that Lola’s had opened a wine store on Broadway (@ Vine) and that they would also carry beer in the near future. Well that near future took somewhat of a Moderne Burgerian twist and the beer was always “about a week away”. Boy, did that sound familiar. But as of today – of all days – Lola’s also sells beer!
Both the beer and wine selection are still somewhat basic, but this should improve over time. And on a day like today I was more than content to walk away with a six pack of Canadian.
