The Khatsahlano Street Party returns to West 4th Avenue on Saturday, July 11, 2026, bringing a full day of live music, local vendors, food, and community activities to the heart of Kitsilano — this year under the imaginative theme Khatsahlano Wonderland.
The free festival stretches 10 blocks from Burrard to Macdonald Street and features multiple music stages showcasing more than 50 Vancouver performers throughout the day. Visitors can also expect artisan booths, street performers, giveaways, special activities, and licensed beer gardens, along with the busy patios and shops that line the avenue. Organizers say the Wonderland theme will add playful visual elements and surprises throughout the street.
Created in 2011 by the Kitsilano West 4th Avenue Business Association, Khatsahlano has grown into Vancouver’s largest free music and arts festival and one of the neighbourhood’s signature summer events. Each year, tens of thousands of people come to West 4th to explore local businesses, discover new artists, and spend the day outdoors with friends and family.
Road closures will be in effect along West 4th Avenue for the event, with pedestrians taking over the street and nearby side streets remaining accessible for local traffic. Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, or take transit due to limited parking in the area.
Businesses that are part of the West 4th BIA are invited to participate, and applications are now open for artisans and vendors interested in joining the 2026 festival.
More details, including the performer lineup and schedule, will be announced closer to the event date.
