Mandy’s Gourmet Salads is officially coming to Kitsilano.
Last summer Retail Insider reported that the rapidly expanding Montreal-based restaurant chain was planning to enter the Vancouver market, with only its first location confirmed at the time: Rogers Tower downtown.
Now Vancouver is Awesome is reporting that the company’s second Vancouver location will open at 2202 West 4th Avenue, bringing Mandy’s to Kitsilano.
Mandy’s began in 2004 as a create-your-own salad bar tucked into the back of a women’s clothing store in Montreal. Sisters Mandy and Rebecca Wolfe have since grown the brand into what many consider a salad empire, with 12 stores open across Quebec and Ontario.
The brand is known for a mostly green menu of breakfast bites, smoothies, salads, and grain bowls, along with a maximal, burst-of-colour approach to interior design.
